Collection: Pinch

Pinch is quiet and refined—a celebration of pure geometry that reads as much like wall sculpture as it does functional light. Resting gently against the wall, it casts a soft interplay of light and shadow, bringing depth and warmth to the surrounding space.

Offered in two lengths — 400mm and 900mm — this simple, elongated form is defined by a sharp central crease or ‘pinch’, which allows light to fall differently on each side. The effect highlights the natural character of its terracotta or marble surfaces.

News and stories, featuring Pinch

Each component is handmade in small quantities in Ferrone, Italy, using natural materials—meaning no two pieces are exactly alike. Subtle variations in tone and texture are part of their charm. Back in Melbourne, every element is carefully checked, assembled, and packed in our Northcote studio. Pinch is designed by Coco Flip for New Volumes, reflecting a shared dedication to craftsmanship, material integrity, and thoughtful design.
