Edition Office's work is often defined by its ability to evoke feeling through restraint, and House in a Garden is no exception. Every detail appears purposeful, yet nothing feels overstated. It is architecture that encourages a slower rhythm — one that values atmosphere as much as form.
Featuring our Sequence Round Dining Table
Conceived as an extension of its landscape, the architecture sits gently amongst an established canopy, dissolving the boundary between dwelling and garden. Rather than presenting a singular façade or grand gesture, the home unfolds through a sequence of considered moments — filtered light, layered views, softened thresholds and a material palette that feels both grounded and enduring.
There is a calmness to the way the project has been resolved. Elevated above the landscape, the home embraces its surrounds from every angle, inviting the changing seasons to become part of daily life. Deep shadows give way to warm timber interiors, while generous openings frame pockets of greenery that feel almost curated, despite their natural ease.
Featuring our Sequence Round
We were honoured to see a selection of Coco Flip pieces featured within the project's styling. While thoughtfully curated for the photography rather than forming part of the permanent interior, it was a pleasure to see our designs inhabit such a beautifully resolved space. Surrounded by natural textures, sculptural forms and an abundance of light, they became part of a broader visual conversation — one centred on materiality, warmth and timeless design.
Edition Office is an architecture studio exploring materiality, form and spatial experience to create meaningful connections between people and place. Working across a diverse range of typologies, the practice creates considered environments that enrich everyday experiences.
